Who we are

This website is run by ShaftCon Holdings (Pty) Ltd (registration 2018/267099/07), Beestekraal, North West Province, South Africa. In this notice “we” means ShaftCon. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect what you type into the form: your name, company, e-mail address, phone number, the country and service you are asking about, and your message. We do not ask for special personal information, and please do not include any.

Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser and the pages requested) for security. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to manage that relationship. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is e-mailed to ShaftCon staff who handle enquiries. It may be shared with the ShaftCon entity or group company best placed to answer (in South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania, Mali or the USA). Our website and e-mail service providers process it on our behalf under agreements that require them to keep it secure.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforeg.org.za.
